Accessibility statement
Our accessibility target, what has been tested, known limitations and how to report a problem.
Our commitment
This website is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is treated as a design and build requirement rather than a final check, because retrofitting it across a large site is both expensive and unreliable.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with correct landmarks and a logical heading order on every template.
- All functionality operable by keyboard, including the mega menu, mobile navigation, tabs, accordions, filters and forms.
- A skip link to the main content, and visible focus indicators that meet contrast requirements.
- Text and interface contrast verified against WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds across every colour pairing the design system can produce.
- Form fields with persistent labels, error messages associated programmatically with their field, and errors summarised at the top of the form.
- Content rendered server-side and visible without JavaScript; animation is enhancement only.
- Full support for the reduced-motion preference, which disables decorative and parallax motion while keeping all content visible.
- Touch targets sized to at least 44 by 44 pixels on interactive controls.
- No functionality that depends on hover alone, and no information conveyed by colour alone.
Testing
Automated structural and contrast checks run as part of every build, covering heading order, landmarks, ARIA reference integrity, form labelling, image alternatives and colour contrast. Keyboard navigation and reduced-motion behaviour are covered by end-to-end tests. Automated testing cannot detect every barrier, and we welcome reports of problems it has missed.
Known limitations
- Screen reader testing across the full combination matrix of assistive technologies and browsers has not been completed.
- Downloadable documents published in future may not all meet the same standard as the website; we will state the format and any limitation alongside each file.
- Embedded third-party content, if introduced, may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We will assess and label any such content.
Reporting a problem
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please contact us at sales@avanteria.com with the page address and a description of the difficulty. We aim to acknowledge reports within five working days and will tell you what we intend to do and when.
Alternative formats
If you need information from this website in a different format, contact us and we will provide it in a reasonable alternative wherever we can.
